The K-700PR X1 Scope Probe comes with spring loaded Hook Pin and BNC Connector. Includes a Banana Pin to BNC Connector adapter (shown) so the probe can be connected to standard DMM front panel jacks (V/Ohm & COM) for tests around the engine compartment where a shielded probe is needed. K-700PR can be compensated with an adjustment screw for waveform tests when using this probe connected to a BNC connector on a lab scope.

DC/AC Current Clamp — Model CA600

CA600 test leads connect to any standard DMM with input impedance of at least 10 MegOhm. Connect leads to the VOLT/OHM and COM jacks.

CA600 converts amps to mVs which are read with any DMM set to the 2-3-4 Volt range (when readout says .000).
LED lights up when the 9V battery is weak. Zero adjustment knob to compensate for the hysteresis effect in DC measurements

Operation:
(1) Connect CA600 to DMM test jacks as if measuring voltage.
(2) Set DMM to 2-3-4 DC Volts range (.000)
(3) Turn ON the CA600 and Zero adjust CA600 to read all zeros on DMM.
(4) Then simply open jaws to surround a single wire when current is flowing.

Easy to interpret DMM reading:
A reading of .001 = 1 Amp;
A reading 0f .030 = 30 Amps;
A reading of .600 = 600 Amps, etc.

Analog Dual-Trace Lab Scope

These analog lab scopes are ideal for DC and signal voltage measurements in automotive and truck electrical and electronic circuits. One of their greatest advantages is real-time measurement, such as monitoring oxygen sensor waveforms in real-time to detect difficult driveability problems related to the air/fuel mixture.

This procedure is explained in our Dual-Trace Lab Scope Training Manual, $35.00 (USD). An analog lab scope is an excellent utility lab scope that can be used as a learning lab scope to develop your lab scope troubleshooting ability when combined with our Dual-Trace Lab Scope Training Manual.

We selected these lab scopes because they have superior triggering capability for signals in automotive and truck circuits that have variable timing, such as injector wave forms and other digital signals related to engine timing and rpm. Able to measure ignition circuit Primary waveforms but NOT RECOMMENDED TO OBSERVE IGNITION SECONDARY PATTERNS AS DAMAGE TO LAB SCOPE WILL RESULT AND VOID THE WARRANTY.

Comes with two each x1-x10 lab scope probes. These lab scopes will never be outdated by vehicle technology. They use the same technology as lab scopes that put men on the moon so they will serve you well in auto/truck electronics for many years to come. Model number may vary as manufacturer updates and revises features and arrangement of front panel controls but essential lab scope performance is the same for all lab scope models we ship.
