Clinic Course Description

What do you check first when a vehicle has an electrical failure?

What do you check first when a vehicle has an ECM/PCM failure?

What do you check first when a vehicle has an electronic dash failure?

What do you check first when a vehicle has a no-code driveability problem?

In "The" Nitty-Gritty Electrical Clinic you learn how to deal with these and other types of major electrical problems so you don't miss something important that could damage a new computer or that you might overlook an obvious electrical problem causing a no-code drivability problem.

In "The" Nitty-Gritty Electrical Clinic you learn how to test an auto or truck's primary electrical system in about 5-8 minutes to determine if there is a battery problem, a cranking problem, a charging problem or a ground circuit problem.

In "The" Nitty-Gritty Electrical Clinic you learn how to avoid misdiagnosis of vehicle electrical problems that waste time and cause annoying come-backs because the original electrical problem wasn't repaired correctly the first time.

In the morning session all attendees receive a copy of Veejer Enterprises' vehicle electrical system troubleshooting laminated flip-chart called "FIRST THINGS FIRST" , a $60.00 value and an illustrated handout covering vehicle electrical system troubleshooting techniques. Continue reading to see what you will learn in "The" Nitty-Gritty Electrical Clinic.

The afternoon session (in full a 1-Day class) is spent practicing performing "FIRST THINGS FIRST" on fleet vehicles, taking electrical readings under supervision. Technicians should have their own DMM for on-the-vehicle electrical testing.
